What is a Health Coach?

If you’re not sure of what a health coach is then you’re not alone. I’ve had many blank stares and misconceptions when I say what I do.

So let me explain…

A health coach guides, supports and empowers you to live a life that nourishes you both on and beyond your plate. We hold space for you to discuss what is and isn’t working for you in all areas of your life. A health coach listens with a beginner’s mind by holding back from judgement, being fully present and asking insightful questions that encourage you to gain a strong sense of self-awareness. We nurture you through the process of change, hold you accountable and help you to transform your goals into actions. A coach will cheer you on every step of the way and help you to realise how good your body and mind are designed to feel.

A health coach is a role model who inspires others to live their best life.

It is important to remember that unless we have existing qualifications, we are not nutritionists, doctors or medical professionals. As coaches, we don’t have the capacity to work with those who are terminally ill.
