Welcome, I’m pleased that your curiosity has brought you here.
I’m Bridget, a Certified Holistic Health Coach, teacher and lover of the small things in life. I am an open-minded, open-hearted and reflective nurturer of myself and others. Each day I'm working on being the truest version of myself and I want to support you to do the same.
So what brought me to this point?
In my mid-twenties I became unwell. I was a shell of my strong-willed, hard-working and independent self. I had lost my spark. When everything in my world looked like I was thriving and at my peak, I was merely surviving.
Just as my stars aligned it felt like they blew apart.
I felt lost, vulnerable, scared, judged and alone despite having close support. Daily tasks were unachievable. I would never have foreseen it happening to me, but it did. Despite my body giving me endless warning signs, being a high-achiever, I pushed them aside and prioritised everything and everyone else before myself. Ironically, I was then trapped in pain and with such debilitating fatigue that I struggled to do anything for myself let alone anyone else.
I felt disconnected from my body and what had been my ‘norm’. I was completely overwhelmed. It got to a point where I felt I had little to lose so I broke myself into pieces before I could start to see things with greater clarity and begin putting myself back together again. I had to go through what was happening rather than around it. I took the time to listen to what my body was telling me rather than suppress it.
I stopped relying on everyone else to give me the answers I was longing for.
It was up to me to heal myself and I began to take responsibility for that. I listened within and moved forward trusting my strong intuition. I started to foster an atmosphere of growth across all areas. I kept learning and working towards a life that was more balanced, aligned with my values and realistic of where I was and where I wanted to be.
I believe that this shift in mindset along with increased awareness and action are what led me to become a passionate advocate for myself and people like you who are taking the time to become the most honest versions of yourselves.
Transformation was slow. At times it peaked and at other times it plateaued.I did all I could to keep moving forward. It challenged me on every level of my wellbeing but ultimately it has been the most rewarding, enlightening and refreshing process that I continue to open myself to. Through all of this, I now have the clarity to see myself in a more accurate way and believe that this shines out of me. I have been introduced, or perhaps re-introduced, to a truer version of myself and let me tell you, I have never felt so in tune with myself, liberated, comfortable and confident with who I am and what I stand for.
I am committed to myself and I now live with genuine purpose; not hiding behind a façade or continually getting stuck in my story.
The overwhelm became passion, determination and resilience and a need to learn more. It is this learning and experience that has led me here.
I would love to guide you to your truest self. Let’s turn the chaos and confusion into calm and clarity.
